CVE-2023-27316 | 1 Netapp | 1 Snapcenter | 2025-02-13 | 8.8 High |
SnapCenter versions 4.8 through 4.9 are susceptible to a vulnerability which may allow an authenticated SnapCenter Server user to become an admin user on a remote system where a SnapCenter plug-in has been installed.
CVE-2023-0045 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 10 more | 2025-02-13 | 4.7 Medium |
The current implementation of the prctl syscall does not issue an IBPB immediately during the syscall. The ib_prctl_set function updates the Thread Information Flags (TIFs) for the task and updates the SPEC_CTRL MSR on the function __speculation_ctrl_update, but the IBPB is only issued on the next schedule, when the TIF bits are checked. This leaves the victim vulnerable to values already injected on the BTB, prior to the prctl syscall. The patch that added the support for the conditional mitigation via prctl (ib_prctl_set) dates back to the kernel 4.9.176. We recommend upgrading past commit a664ec9158eeddd75121d39c9a0758016097fa96
CVE-2023-4408 | 4 Fedoraproject, Isc, Netapp and 1 more | 9 Fedora, Bind, Ontap and 6 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
The DNS message parsing code in `named` includes a section whose computational complexity is overly high. It does not cause problems for typical DNS traffic, but crafted queries and responses may cause excessive CPU load on the affected `named` instance by exploiting this flaw. This issue affects both authoritative servers and recursive resolvers. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.0.0 through 9.16.45, 9.18.0 through 9.18.21, 9.19.0 through 9.19.19, 9.9.3-S1 through 9.11.37-S1, 9.16.8-S1 through 9.16.45-S1, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.21-S1.

IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.7, 11.2.4, and 12.0.0 is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. IBM X-Force ID: 267451.
CVE-2023-4236 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 1 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bind and 10 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
A flaw in the networking code handling DNS-over-TLS queries may cause `named` to terminate unexpectedly due to an assertion failure. This happens when internal data structures are incorrectly reused under significant DNS-over-TLS query load. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.18.0 through 9.18.18 and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.18-S1.
CVE-2023-41993 | 7 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 16 Ipad Os, Ipados, Iphone Os and 13 more | 2025-02-13 | 8.8 High |
The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14. Processing web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited against versions of iOS before iOS 16.7.
CVE-2023-39325 | 4 Fedoraproject, Golang, Netapp and 1 more | 53 Fedora, Go, Http2 and 50 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
A malicious HTTP/2 client which rapidly creates requests and immediately resets them can cause excessive server resource consumption. While the total number of requests is bounded by the http2.Server.MaxConcurrentStreams setting, resetting an in-progress request allows the attacker to create a new request while the existing one is still executing. With the fix applied, HTTP/2 servers now bound the number of simultaneously executing handler goroutines to the stream concurrency limit (MaxConcurrentStreams). New requests arriving when at the limit (which can only happen after the client has reset an existing, in-flight request) will be queued until a handler exits. If the request queue grows too large, the server will terminate the connection. This issue is also fixed in golang.org/x/net/http2 for users manually configuring HTTP/2. The default stream concurrency limit is 250 streams (requests) per HTTP/2 connection. This value may be adjusted using the golang.org/x/net/http2 package; see the Server.MaxConcurrentStreams setting and the ConfigureServer function.
CVE-2023-38359 | 2 Ibm, Netapp | 2 Cognos Analytics, Oncommand Insight | 2025-02-13 | 6.1 Medium |
IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.7, 11.2.4, and 12.0.0 is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.7, 11.2.0, and 11.2.1 could allow a remote attacker to obtain system information without authentication which could be used in reconnaissance to gather information that could be used for future attacks. IBM X-Force ID: 257703.
CVE-2023-35001 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more | 15 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 12 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.8 High |
Linux Kernel nftables Out-Of-Bounds Read/Write Vulnerability; nft_byteorder poorly handled vm register contents when CAP_NET_ADMIN is in any user or network namespace
CVE-2023-3390 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 12 Linux Kernel, H300s, H410c and 9 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.8 High |
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's netfilter subsystem in net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c. Mishandled error handling with NFT_MSG_NEWRULE makes it possible to use a dangling pointer in the same transaction causing a use-after-free vulnerability. This flaw allows a local attacker with user access to cause a privilege escalation issue. We recommend upgrading past commit 1240eb93f0616b21c675416516ff3d74798fdc97.
CVE-2023-32344 | 2 Ibm, Netapp | 2 Cognos Analytics, Oncommand Insight | 2025-02-13 | 4.3 Medium |

IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.7, 11.2.4, and 12.0.0 could be vulnerable to information leakage due to unverified sources in messages sent between Windows objects of different origins. IBM X-Force ID: 254290.
CVE-2023-29552 | 4 Netapp, Service Location Protocol Project, Suse and 1 more | 5 Smi-s Provider, Service Location Protocol, Linux Enterprise Server and 2 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
The Service Location Protocol (SLP, RFC 2608) allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to register arbitrary services. This could allow the attacker to use spoofed UDP traffic to conduct a denial-of-service attack with a significant amplification factor.
CVE-2023-2911 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 1 more | 14 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bind and 11 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
If the `recursive-clients` quota is reached on a BIND 9 resolver configured with both `stale-answer-enable yes;` and `stale-answer-client-timeout 0;`, a sequence of serve-stale-related lookups could cause `named` to loop and terminate unexpectedly due to a stack overflow. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.16.33 through 9.16.41, 9.18.7 through 9.18.15, 9.16.33-S1 through 9.16.41-S1, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.15-S1.
CVE-2023-2829 | 2 Isc, Netapp | 12 Bind, Active Iq Unified Manager, H300s and 9 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
A `named` instance configured to run as a DNSSEC-validating recursive resolver with the Aggressive Use of DNSSEC-Validated Cache (RFC 8198) option (`synth-from-dnssec`) enabled can be remotely terminated using a zone with a malformed NSEC record. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.16.8-S1 through 9.16.41-S1 and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.15-S1.
CVE-2023-2828 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 2 more | 19 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bind and 16 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
Every `named` instance configured to run as a recursive resolver maintains a cache database holding the responses to the queries it has recently sent to authoritative servers. The size limit for that cache database can be configured using the `max-cache-size` statement in the configuration file; it defaults to 90% of the total amount of memory available on the host. When the size of the cache reaches 7/8 of the configured limit, a cache-cleaning algorithm starts to remove expired and/or least-recently used RRsets from the cache, to keep memory use below the configured limit. It has been discovered that the effectiveness of the cache-cleaning algorithm used in `named` can be severely diminished by querying the resolver for specific RRsets in a certain order, effectively allowing the configured `max-cache-size` limit to be significantly exceeded. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.16.41, 9.18.0 through 9.18.15, 9.19.0 through 9.19.13, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.16.41-S1, and 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.15-S1.
CVE-2023-26545 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 14 Linux Kernel, H300s, H300s Firmware and 11 more | 2025-02-13 | 4.7 Medium |
In the Linux kernel before 6.1.13, there is a double free in net/mpls/af_mpls.c upon an allocation failure (for registering the sysctl table under a new location) during the renaming of a device. |
